This is "THE" microphone that Elvis used when he recorded with Sun Studio. Of course, Bear calls it "THE" microphone that Johnny Cash used. To each his own. ;) Actually, it's the microphone that everyone used as it was/is the only microphone in the studio. Pretty cool!

ReplyDeleteMelissa, I honestly don't know where the obsession with Johnny Cash originates. I mean, Big D & I know who he is, but it's not like we are huge fans. Bear heard a song & it was always "that's so Johnny Cash" from then on. ;) He now listens to him on his mp3 player. Hee!
ReplyDeleteStacey, they sure do let you touch the microphone! As a matter of fact, they encourage it! We made a straight bee-line for it. And the touch up is a new trick I learned. Thank you! I was pleased with the results. :D
