As our years and the tree have grown, the tree has become our favorite part of the yard. It's our beacon.
It has survived heavy rains and was shelter to all the spiders looking for dry land.
It has survived tropical storms and hurricanes.
It lived through a snow storm in Houston.
We ♥ our tree!

Wonderful seeing survival like this! And through it all, your tree just grows more beautiful each day! And the little birds are only too happy to enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteIs that a mourning dove? I have not seen a nest in so long. The good nesting tree near my house is so thick you can't see a thing! I am sure there are birds or maybe squirrels in there!

ReplyDeleteWe are a confirmed tree-hugging family and you can't beat an oak!

Baby birdies. How cute. We have some nests around our place too, and I love how protective and caring the momma birds are when it comes to minding their nests and little birdies.
