My Baby, He Wrote Me A Letter
There are times when I just can't listen to Bear anymore so I send him to his room for a few minutes. His mouth runs constantly. Constantly, I tell you! And I'm not just talking about talking. I'm talking about noises, yelling, singing, arguing, obnoxiousness, and some sweetness. Last week, after an especially trying day of him, I kindly asked him to go play in his room for 30 minutes. He was in there having a good time playing and singing (constantly running his mouth, see?). He sounded like he was having so much fun that when the 30 minutes was up, I kept my mouth quiet (see, Bear, it's possible). He finally figured out that he had been in there an incredibly long time (maybe 40 minutes, tops) and begged to re-join his sister and me. He comes shuffling in, all contrite, and says: Mama, I wrote you a letter...
in Morse Code. I heart that boy.

O D... I love it! Just think of how smart your little one is becoming!
I totally understand his "constant noise". My favorite time was when I looked at him and said "Bear, I have asked you to stop. You are about to be in big trouble." Then he looked at me and said "You never said to stop." I was guilty as charged. So from there on out I made a point to make sure that I asked him to stop; and he usually did.
I'm quite impressed--and even moreso if you know what it says! xo
Melissa, I like how you said usually. Hee! I figured you'd get a kick out of it.
Coastie Bro & Stacey, I suffer from foggy brain. At the time it was given to me, I was told what it said. When I asked him again, he had to consult his spy book. He came back with: Sorry, can't crack the code. We know for sure it said 'I'm sorry Mama' but not sure about the rest. Probably just silly stuff as that's what he's known for.
It looks like the lyrics to "Pour Some Sugar On Me"......
Ha! That was the song he was singing! You might be right. Hmmm...not sure how I feel about that tho ;)
