- I'm the sister of a Coastie who is finally home. I started this blog to entertain him. I'm a Texas girl who arrived by way of Tennessee (& Arkansas and a bunch of other places). I am married to an awesome man and have 2 children: Lamb, my sweet 15 yr. old daughter, and Bear, my entertaining 11 yr. old son. We also have a dog (Belgian Malinois), 2 cats (nothing fancy), lizard (bearded dragon), and a hedgehog. All we need now are fish & a bird! I jest. I work in the Special Ed Resource department at an elementary school.

This brings back such a sweet memory. Taylor has always loved soft fabric, especially satin. As a little boy, he ended up with two of my night shirts and one of my hubby's old baseball jerseys. He called them "his night gowns", and he had to have them with him in order to sleep. He was getting quite OLD for them, and I was worried the kid would NEVER give them up, when he accidentally left them in the bed of a hotel room while we were on vacation. He howled like a dying wolf when he realized they were gone. We called and tried to get them back somehow, but they were tossed out and could not be retrieved... thank heavens!
