What Is Old Is New Again

Lamb is currently obsessed. With the tv show, Happy Days. It started when we took her to see the musical. I have been borrowing the series from the library (sadly, only up to season 4 is on dvd at this moment). She's like me in that she likes to watch things in order. So you can imagine her horror when season 4 came available before season 3.

She decided to be a rebel and watch it anyway. Because she's naughty like that.

Imagine my horror when she lamented that watching the show always makes her hungry. Mrs. C makes *the* best meals and they are always homecooked. There's always good food in the fridge and pantry.Poor Lamb. She grew up in the wrong era. Instead she got stuck with a mom who can't stand to be in the kitchen. There's not enough room with all the dirty dishes that Lamb hasn't taken care of yet. (I bet Joanie never neglected her chores.) It's hot. It's stressful. And I don't produce good meals.

Oh, happy days here in the 2000's.

That is so funny! I spent many a happy hour watching that show and wishing I lived during that time.
My youngest son cannot stand things out of order. Must drive him crazy around here:)

I LOVE those old shows. The other day, hubby and I were surfing the channels and landed on The Jeffersons. I was laughing OUT LOUD. Amazing that stuff is still so funny.

That was one of my favorites growing up! I don't cook as good as Mrs. C, either, so I'm hoping my kids don't take a sudden interest in some of the older shows.

You and I really are so much alike. I am happy to cook if the kitchen is CLEAN and I have something interesting to make! The slow up is always the kids not getting to their chores. ;-)

Great, now I'll go to bed and dream of Richie.

I loved Happy Days. I too am one that has to do things in order and will wait and wait and wait for something to come out even if the later one is already out. Good for her for "bending the rules". :)

I love to cook but have to say that I hate to cook when there is a messy kitchen. But more than likely it's messy because I didn't clean up from the last time I cooked. Oh well.

Hey...asking a big favor...can you head on over to my blog and vote for my picture in a photo contest? All the instructions are over there. In fact if you want...spread the word! :)

You're not kidding! I actually wan't a big Happy Days watcher. Not sure why...but just wasn't. (When I did watch it, I just like watching Ralph Mouth get in trouble.)

I was a big fan of Happy Days when it was on. I think it is great that Lamb is enjoying the show. It's all new to her, and I'm sure she loves the Fonz!
Aaaaayyy!!!

:-)

I like to cook, but only if the recipes are easy. Martha Stewart I am not. I use the crock pot a LOT.

One of my all time favorites. I still enjoy watching it every now and then. They don't make shows like that anymore.
