Wanderlust
While I don't have the comfort of living in a place I grew up, I do realize the experience of living in different areas is pretty cool. I don't know what life has in store for us so this list might not be a complete list. We just may move again, one day.
Places I've lived: Texas and Arkansas 2x each.
I have also visited a great many states. And it's my goal to see all 50 states. Now, to be fair, a lot of these places, I have no memory of because I was quite young during the Navy years.
Places I've visited:
Right now, I have serious wanderlust. We probably won't be able to go anywhere this summer and I'm bummed.
It stinks being a responsible grown-up sometimes.

Awww, I feel your Wanderlust!!! I desperately want to go see a friend in Forks (yes, THAT Forks) this summer b/c her husband is in the Coast Guard and is stationed at the reservation at La Push (yes, THAT LaPush)... but I so have no money and need to use available money to buy a new refrigerator. :( I totally get it.
i am praying that the CG sends me somewhere new this year. I HAVE TO TRAVEL SOMEWHERE. i have been in this spot to long now. i am like a caged lion right now. PLease Uncle Sam send me somewhere.
oh by the way i want to color a map. i LOVE coloring maps to see where i have been.
I know of what you speak. Just yesterday my dear husband turned to me and said, "poverty sucks". Now, we are by no means impoverished but we are feeling the crunch:)
I'm feeling it too. I noticed today that my kid's passports expire this year. I'm wishing we could go and use them again, just one more time!
I absolutely love to travel so I'm feeling your pain here. We will not be going anywhere this year for vacation. Unless...that money tree in the backyard starts blooming!
Being responsible is WAY overrated.
We're not allowed to move until I'm in college so that I can still stay here. But if we do I'm sure Bubba's Sis' family would be ever so happy to adopt me. ;) And I'm not kidding about the whole no moving thing.
Stinkiy-stinky. I want to raom too. The economy.. time... adulthood... all barriers. I say "Boohoo" to barriers!
So THAT'S what my disease is called: Wanderlust. Hmmmm. I like it. I used to go crazy if I wasn't moving at least every other year. I'm doing better now...I just need to do a road trip at least twice a year. I'm tired of cardboard boxes. ;-)
Find your way to San Francisco, and you can stay for free in our white-trash pop-up camper parked year round in our driveway. We're home ALL summer.
