Sincerely 'Fro Me to You - The One Where He'd Killed Me If He Knew

Shhh! Don't tell my son I'm posting this picture! When Bear first discovered baseball, it didn't take him long to realize he wanted Craig Biggio to be his baseball hero. We were so excited back in 2004 to find out that Bear could meet him at the Fan Fest. Unfortunately, Bear woke up feeling awful. His sinus' were kicking his butt. He wanted to go though so we went. After waiting for a long time, it was finally Bear's turn to meet his hero. We paid $5 to have his picture made with him. We just had to laugh when we saw it. Poor Bear!
The one with Adam Everett and another player I could not even name, Bear looks fine. Story of our lives, isn't it?

I just can't believe Biggio got close enough to Bear to touch him! Wow!

Tell him not to feel bad - I have countless pictures of myself looking like that, and I wasn't even sick! I'm sure Biggio loved him anyway!

Aw, his little eyes look so red. But at least he got to meet him, right. He's a true fan!

Some of my favorite pictures of my kids are ones where they've been sick. Conjures up all this maternal BS in me, I guess.

Hope Lamb doesn't tell him what you've gone and done!

Awww Bear does look like he's hurtin up there, but knowing what I do, something tells me he'd do it all over again!

I've missed you, look for an email from me soon, there have been some pretty profound changes to my family dynamics which have kept me from blogging. No worries, I am fine, though, promise. xoxo

Every time I have some big or very exciting event to go to, either myself or the kids get sick it happens every time! At least he got to meet him sick or not!

Oh wow...he must have been sooo nervous! When we went to an Astros game last year my husband had to go up to the rail while they were signing balls with our son! He was sooo nervous! Great pics!

We have a little baseball fan here too... so sad he wasn't feeling well for his star struck moment.

Bear is the only kid I've ever known who loves baseball as much as Bubba does. And, he's a trooper to hang in and get the prize. I hope he goes on and plays ball all the way to varsity!

I agree with the mom who wrote that any time something major is going on someone always gets sick! What a trooper to stick it out!
Take care,
