Hi D! It's just not fair that all the hard work can be undone in one day!
What are you all doing about hurricane Ike? I've been watching the news here in Corpus and I'm not sure what to think. I've heard we may have a mandatory evacuation. I'm getting concerned and worried! Have you been through this before? The reports now are saying landfall between Corpus and Galveston Bay. Hope you all are ok. Take care, Julie
Do you mean like eating my vegies and exercising instead of watching Bonnie Hunt's new show while eating chocolate? Ugh.. I don't like to think about those habits!
I'm the sister of a Coastie who is finally home. I started this blog to entertain him. I'm a Texas girl who arrived by way of Tennessee (& Arkansas and a bunch of other places). I am married to an awesome man and have 2 children: Lamb, my sweet 15 yr. old daughter, and Bear, my entertaining 11 yr. old son. We also have a dog (Belgian Malinois), 2 cats (nothing fancy), lizard (bearded dragon), and a hedgehog. All we need now are fish & a bird! I jest. I work in the Special Ed Resource department at an elementary school.

Good habits are hard to form and bad habits are hard to break.
I need to start a habit of eating carrots and celery instead of bread and butter.
:-)
Ike is headed towards your neck of the woods, unless it takes an unexpected turn.
Stay safe!!
You'll be getting a postcard from me soon!!!
