Camera Critters #21

Meet Tiger and Big Daddy. When Bear was turning four years old, all he wanted for his birthday was fish. We took him to the pet store & researched the different kinds of fish. Big D, not to be confused with Big Daddy, decided that Oscar fish would be the best type of fish. They are considered hearty and live a long time. So, for this 4th birthday, all Bear received were his two fish and all their paraphernalia. Two weeks later, they were both in the big fish bowl in the sky. This is the only picture we took of them. Had I but known, I would have taken a picture every day. ;)

Check us out at Camera Critters.

The only fish I had luck with were guppies! My brother in law had an Oscar so large that we fed it from a spoon when we had to look after it - I though it would bite my fingers if I got too close!

Have a wonderful weekend!

We used to have fishes in the aquarium, too, but sadly they were all gone now. Not bad, considered we had them for 7 years.

Here's my camera critter for this week.

Pretty picture though.

Ah. I feel bad for Bear. Maybe simply goldfish will do for a while. They're cheap.

Awww. Sad for kids when they lose a pet, even fish. We had goldfish when my twins were about that age, and it's just heartbreaking when they die. Those were some pretty fish!

Awwwww poor kid. I used to have an aquarium full of fancy tailed guppies and I loved them. When they would breed, it was always so neat, because their babies would grow up with striped tails and spotted tails and shiny tails of all different colors.

I am finishing my rounds on camera critters. Very nice photo. Sad to here they died so soon after. I've only ever had luck with goldfish. I had one for close to seven years.
