Ch Ch Ch Changes

Today was the 1st day of our new year. And in a sea of high school girls with long straight hair, she opts for short wavy hair.
The first year in High School.

The last year of Elementary School.
May it be a great year full of accomplishments, learning, and FUN!
Of course, today wasn't all about fun. Bear got what he deems a Torture.Device. He wants it out Now! He can't talk, no one can understand him. He feels like he did before he started speech therapy. Not cool. And the worst part? He has to wear it full-time for Three. Months. Torture, horrible horrible torture.

Adorable kids! My 12 yo just got her torture device removed..she actually got so used to it that she missed it when it was gone. She wore it about 9mo.
Hope that they have a GREAT school year!

Aww lamb looks fantastic..how did it go? She's absolutely beautiful, but she gets it from her mama. Too funny for Bear, hehe! Alex got his 'brace' off yesterday, only to discover his 'fang' teeth had grown in wayyyy up high while they were covered with the brace and wax. Ugh! Braces here we come. First, though, he needs a flapper tooth to replace the still-missing one. xo

Hi D! Love your daughters short hair, too cute! My daughter went with short hair for kindergarten. I hope your son's mouth feels better, no fun for him! Yes, we are having fun in NYC. I will try to blog all week.
Take care,
Julie

Poor Bear. It really must feel like torture to him. Tell him he's still massively photogenic and handsome, to boot. (His sister is a doll!)

I am a bad working mom. I left the camera with dad who had to take the kids to school, and he "forgot" to take first day pictures. ug.

My younger one went with short hair this year---and we an extra short touch up the Saturday before school started. It's ahead of the curve, I'm sure.
