Horrible, Horrible Confession

So, yeah, this is embarrassing, especially since one of Bear's old teachers is a dear friend of mine and a reader to boot. But this is too wild NOT to share.

Lamb has done four Science Fair projects and has always entered them in the actual fair.

Bless her heart. She has never won a ribbon. And she's had some very interesting projects!

This is Bear's second year to do a Science Fair Project. Knowing that he & I are great, big, giant procrastinators, Big D suggested that Bear recreate one of Lamb's old projects. One that is totally up his alley. One that is easy. One that doesn't take a lot of time.

Now, he did research it. He journaled it. He did his own board. But the project? Totally his sister's idea. We knew how it would turn out. Yes, yes, I know everything you are thinking. I even understand it. That's not the point of this post. Consider it a test to see how accurate Lamb's results were years ago.

Remember how Lamb has never won a ribbon? Well, today, I was touring the Science Fair projects when my friend came running up to me. He was soooo excited.

It seems that "Bear's" project won 5th place in Physical Science.

It's hard to be Bear's sister sometimes.

Always great to have an older sibling! And it helps if they are smart! I just love reading these stories about you kids...and animals!

Your kids...sorry!

The older ones always pave the way for the younger. Poor, poor Lamb. (I know she is reading).
And congrats to Bear.
Hey, it occurs to me that we could "trade" these ideas across state lines:)

Would you mind sharing the award-winning project? (Bear's, not Lamb's, of course.) My daughter has a science fair coming up.
