Fawning Over David Cook
I usually leave the t.v. show talk to Bubba's Sis. However, I must chime in on tonight's American Idol.
David Archuleta Bores.Me. There I said it. He has a beautiful voice & talent. But he is not unique. Yet. I've heard his voice 100x before. Yawn. The judges fawning over him tonight made me throw up in my mouth a little. Yick.
David Cook, on the other hand, may not have the voice of David A. He certainly has the talent & charisma! I would definitely listen to him outside of the show. I can't wait to see what kind of record he'll put out.
Remember his name, remember his face, remember his voice. He's going to make it big no matter the outcome of the votes.
Like Chris Daughtry, I can't wait to say I "knew him when!"
P.S. So long, Dancing With The Stars. It'll seem like forever waiting until September. I'll miss you! At least I'll have So You Think You Can Dance to keep me company while I wait.

I agree with you 100%, BFF. I heart David Cook, and no matter who wins (it'll probably be David A.) HE will be the winner in my mind! I can't wait for his debut CD!
And why am I up this late, you ask? I'm up with the coughing child. The coughing coughing coughing times infinity child. Please God - make him stop coughing and just go to sleep!
Yeah, watching last night was painful. I knew all those old folgies and teenie boppers were going to vote David A into the top spot, but you're right...He's A STINKIN' ZOMBIE! I'll take David C ANYday!
I boycotted AI for awhile after Chris Daughtry was voted off - Hubs and I were SO freaking ticked off (the man sang Bon Jovi and was excellent for crying out loud!!!). I told Hubs this year - If David Cook doesn't win it, I'm DONE watching American Idol... that's IT! Hubs just rolled his eyes and said, "Yeah, Honey, that's what you say every season about your favorite." Geesh - he's always got to point stuff like that out.
