Money Can't Buy You Love or Happiness

But it can buy you a movie ticket!

The family went to see Iron Man, finally. We usually try to see the superhero movies opening weekend, but life got in the way last weekend. Much to Big D's horror shame (ok,he doesn't really care), I am not literate in all things superheroes. I never heard of Iron Man until he told me about the movie. I know how much he enjoys them & their comics, so I was game about seeing the movie. We both really liked it. The sequel should be much better now that all the pesky background story has been covered.

Next up?

Woot!

Brent talked me into watching The Last Crusade last night. He said I have to get prepared for the excitement...

20 yrs. Man. That's a long time, huh? I hope the Indy magic is still there.

Melissa, please tell me that you aren't starting the excitement prep with The Last Crusade. You've watched the other 2 movies, right? Raiders of the Lost Ark is a must see. Temple of Doom, eh. The girl got on my nerves.

I'm with you - I'm not so 'up' on the superheroes.

But, I can definitely handle some Indiana Jones!!!

I very much loved Ironman in the comics but was disappointed who they had playing Ironman in the movie. But I won't completely judge until I see it. Now Indy?? I'm definitely in for watching that with you, B/S and Stacey!!!!

Jen, like I mentioned, Big D is a huge comic book/superhero freak. He thought Robert Downey, Jr. did a wonderful job. I thought so too, but I was not familiar with Iron Man going into the theater. I'll be curious to hear your thoughts on him after you see the movie.

I forgot to ask him if the movie stayed true to the comic book. Shoot. I knew there was something I was forgetting.
