Would You Like Some Coffee With Your Cream?

While I love the smell of coffee, I do not like the taste of coffee. I am not a coffee drinker. Or, rather, I was not a coffee drinker.

This past summer the teacher I worked with in summer school always brought me a cup of coffee in the mornings. I learned that with lots enough sugar & creamer, it's quite tasty!

Last weekend, while grocery shopping, there was a sample of coffee with flavored creamer. I poured in a lot of Dulce Caramel or something like that. It was Oh So Good!

I've been thinking about it quite a bit lately. When I find a new food/drink that I never knew tasted yummy, I tend to obsess over it. Yes, I'm weird. Aren't we all?

Big D bought me a small coffee pot, Folger's, and Irish Cream creamer. He makes me a cup and puts enough creamer in there that I don't have any bitterness in my mouth. And Wow! The energy I have afterward! Who knew?

So. Coffee is probably really bad for us, huh? At least the way I drink it...

That is exactly how I drink my coffee! Only I like the seasonal Peppermint Mocha creamer, and the French Vanilla for the rest of the year. But you know, add enough creamer so you barely taste the coffee. :)

I shudder when I remember the years I drank (and enjoyed) plain ol' black coffee. Bleech.

Mt. Dew is my coffee!!
I hate the smell and taste of coffee. I wish I liked it, but I don't like to drink anything that's hot.

How funny - I'm just like you. I love the smell of coffee, just not the taste. I choose coffee for my husband based on the smell. Apparently, I can choose some good coffees. I wouldn't know. I don't drink the stuff.

The ONLY way I can drink coffee is with tons of cream and sugar - and even then, I don't like it much.

I really want to like coffee. I really do. I love the smell, but gosh, I just don't like the taste. Maybe I should have you make me a cup like yours and then I'll like it!

I'm a tea gal myself. Never have learned to like coffee. My youngest son loves it - and when he drinks it he puts so much sugar and creamer/milk, it is really just sweetened milk. Cracks me up. And yes, I am up blogging at 2:39 a.m. while my oldest is trying to feel better. Thank goodness for computers.

My best friend is a coffeeholic. This past Friday as we were shopping she talked me into a Gingersanp Latte from Starbucks, Oh my Goodness it is good! I am the same way I drink a little coffee with my cream and sugar. :)

FINALLY a kindred spirit when it comes to coffee.
My hubby and I don't like the taste of coffee. It has worked out well that neither of us like it, but over the years EVERYone we know have been coffee drinkers.
We are like the odd ones out.
I can drink coffee IF it has tons of cream and sugar in it and tastes like a melted Sugar Daddy.
I'm with you on this one!!!!

I love the smell of coffee, but I only drink it on special occasions or when I am out to eat breakfast or at a dinner and then I like it with dessert. Although, I must say I am in love with Starbuck's peppermint mochas, especially this time of year.
Take care,
Julie

I noticed that McDonald's has a hot chocolate served in a coffee cup like their other fancy coffee drinks----and that is as close to coffee as I want to get. I do not need another bad habit! ;-) You can get some yummy hot chocolate flavors just like coffees, but I need a cool drink most of the time anyway.

Gave up my precious Diet Coke for Lent two years ago. Back-filled with coffee, the taste of which I ain't a fan of. You know where it's going, right? Nearly a pot each morning, thank you very much. Still don't like the taste. Don't bother with sugar or cream. I treat it like, I don't know, Metamucil...you know, just drink the damn thing and get it over with.
