10 Cities I Could Live In

In no particular order, here are ten cities I could live in. Most I wouldn't want to live there forever, just enough time to learn the city and find all its hidden treasures.

  1. Memphis, Tennessee - Where I met my husband, started my adult/married life, had my babies....I have a lot of special memories of this city...and just 'down the round' I have a lot of family!

  2. Destin/Panama City Beach, Florida - My favorite beautiful beaches and a good friend are located on the Emerald Coast. You can't really ask for much more.

  3. New York City, New York - I could so live there for a period of time (probably couldn't afford it tho). I am still thinking about this city 3 months after I've visited it.

  4. Chicago, Illinois - We have visited 3 times and I still haven't gotten tired of it.

  5. Orlando, Florida - Another city that I have visited several times and find it filled with tons of entertainment, the most important one being Disney!

  6. Paris, France - No one said it had to be American cities! I have always dreamed of going to Paris. I almost went sr. year with the French club, but I had a flaky unorganized teacher so it never happened. One day though, one day!

  7. Boston, Massachusetts - I lived right outside of Boston my jr. year of high school. The city is so rich with our U.S. history. I regret that I never got to explore it. Oh, we did the Freedom Trail several times, saw the House of Seven Gables, and even made our way to Salem to learn about the witch trials. But, now that I'm adult, I'd love to live there and really embrace the city.

  8. Savannah, Georgia - A Southern city that has always appealed to me. I'm not sure why, maybe because I just love its name. Lamb was almost named Savannah, but her daddy nixed it.

  9. Birmingham, Alabama - Another Southern city that appeals to me. I've been a couple of times and it's really a pretty city. And after reading Anne George's Southern Sisters mystery series, I'd love to live there even more.

  10. Austin, Texas - If Bear gets a scholarship to his dream college, I'll move there so we won't be far apart. ;) It wouldn't be a hardship as it's a pretty cool place!

I will come and live with you in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and Austin - you're on your own in the others. Well, maybe Paris. But New York, Chicago, and Boston just don't appeal to me. Nice places to visit - wouldn't wanna live there.

Happy Tuesday!

i would not let you live in Brimingham AL. trust me on that one please. i know ppl there who are cops. BAD idea.

me London is really the only city. i just want to live in a nice small country setting. Up in Montana, Wyomong, Tn or even Ar for that matter. as long as it is super small wooded area even farm land would not be bad.

Huh, I had no idea about Birmingham. I just find it a charming city. I will trust you on it and scratch it off.

Montana? Wyoming? Sure they are pretty but not enough to entertain me there. You are so different than me. Must be the F... in you. ;) For those not in the know, I am NOT masking a dirty word!

LOL - you dirty mouth, D! Talking to Coastie Bro that way!

I didn't know that about Birmingham, either. I just know in Birmingham they love the governor. Ooo Ooo. Guess I won't come live with you there, BFF. Let's stick with Savannah. We can eat at Paula Deen's restaurant every day!!! First you start with a stick of butter....
