Shadow

The photo hunter word of the week is shadow. Last summer, we took a Rambling Road Trip that took us to Marion, Ar; Memphis, Tn; St. Louis, Mo; Kansas City, Mo; Oklahoma City, Ok; and Dallas, Tx. Along the way we saw some baseball games, state capitols, and interesting little tourist things. This picture came from the Oklahoma State Capitol. The statue is called The Guardian. He also sits atop the dome of the capitol building. I thought it appropriate that the way the light shone it cast a shadow in all directions. That way he is able to truly guard.
