What Does This Say About Me?
The building where my water bill goes to is just up the road from me. I pass by it more than once a week. Because I'm cheap want to save a stamp, I always drop the payment off rather than mailing it. Sounds smart right? Uh huh. Then tell me why I can never get it there on time? It's usually always a day late. One day. So I have to tack on the $5 late fee. All to save myself the price of a stamp. I think I need to just throw it in the mail.

Coastie Bro says what?
Speaking of Elvis stamps, I used to have some. I think they somehow disappeared when I cleaned out stuff at my parents' house last summer. Mom wasn't too happy about that... Oops!
Oops indeed, Melissa! I actually have 2 of them. They are framed and hanging right above me as I type. One of them is on an envelope addressed to my dad. Years later, he found out he could have kept that one and given me one addressed to ME. Oh well. It's still cool to have.
We aren't settled in yet in the new house, or state for that matter. I used to get stamps provided to me by my boss in the old state (he's a very good and generous man). Now, I have to pay for them. Oh no, I drive 14 miles out of the middle of nowhere to pay my electric bill in person rather than use a stamp to mail it. DUH - ummmm have ya seen the price of gas lately? I don't think my head is screwed on right!
Spider pig?? What is that?
Hey Coastie Bro - haven't seen you over at my blog lately!
Good grief, Coastie Bro. I just realized what your spiderpig comment was all about. Duh me!!
So...I'm not the only one. :)
