Camera Critter #10
During a recent trip to Corpus Christi, we saw that a storm had blown in a lot of starfish. It was our mission to save as many as we could.
Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there, especially to the dads in my world. Ya'll rock! Your kids are the most important things in your lives. That is not a small thing and your kids have better lives because of ya'll's devotion. Thank you.

Lovely. It reminds me. . . when I worked at wonderful Heifer Ranch (www.heifer.org) our volunteer coordinator wore a tiny gold starfish pin to remind us why we were there. The story goes like this:
An old man walked up a shore strewn with thousands of starfish, beached and dying after a storm. A young man was picking them up and flinging them back into the ocean. "Why do you bother?" the old man scoffed. "You'll never save enough to make a difference." The young man picked up another starfish and sent it spinning back to the water. "Made a difference to that one," he said.

Happy Father's Day to your hubby and mine!
My hubby is in CA, so we celebrated on Friday evening and took him out to dinner.
My dad is in CA too, and when my hubby is there, he stays with my parents. He sees them more often than I do!!
Good dads are priceless!!!!!!!
Star quality!
